Booking Terms & Conditions

Early Check in and Late Checkout requests subject to availability, fees may apply All guests must be over 18 years of age or accompanied by a legal parent or legal guardian

2. Deposit & Payment

Your credit card serves as a guarantee for your reservation and will be used to secure your accommodation charges 24 hours prior to arrival. Payments made by credit card will incur surcharges apply.

A valid credit card is required at time of booking however payment is processed prior to arrival, special events and Advance Purchase rates will have payment taken at time of booking.

  • All Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Credit, Debit and Eftpos card banking fees are applied to your account.

A valid Driver’s License, Proof of Age Card, or Passport will be required to check-in. A Pre-Authorisation for the amount up to $250 per room will be taken on the day of check in as a security bond on the room and to guarantee any incidentals. Please note we are a cash free venue and do not accept cash payments for the room or security bond.

Booking data may be shared between all Prendiville Group properties.

3. Party Policy

Tradewinds Hotel has a zero-tolerance policy on parties being held in the rooms and disruption to other guests. A party being defined as:

  • Any situation where the maximum number of guests allowed per apartment is exceeded
  • Any situation where the noise level from the apartment is deemed too high thereby disturbing other hotel guests and/or the apartment residents
  • Any situation whereby excessive traffic to/from the apartment is identified
  • Any situation where it is deemed that intoxication is occurring
  • Any situation where it is identified that excessive alcohol is present
  • Any situation where the hotel suspects that the room is being used for any purpose other than its intended purpose of providing accommodation

In an event that any room/guest is identified as having a party, the hotel reserves the right to immediately request all occupants of the room up to, and including, the guest who has registered for the room to vacate the premises. In the event that an eviction does occur, the registered guest will be charged for that night’s accommodation and for any expense resulting from additional cleaning of the room, replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage, as well as for any required repairs.

4. Smoking

All rooms and public areas are completely non-smoking. If smoke odour is detected a cleaning fee of $220 may be charged plus any additional costs incurred by the hotel as a result.

5. Unreasonable State

Any room left in an unreasonable state requiring additional cleaning, repairs to any component to the room not limited to walls, floors, furniture and fittings will be charged to the guest registered for the room. A cleaning fee of $250 will apply plus any incurred costs to the hotel for labour, parts etc resulting from unreasonable damages.

5. Fire Alarms

Should the fire alarm be triggered in your room caused by any means associated with your stay, behaviour and/or activity any fees passed on to the hotel from the Fire Department will be payable and charged to the registered guest in the room. Fees in excess of $1,337 per incident may apply.

5. Use of Guest Facilities

The guest laundry and gymnasium are opened 7am until 9pm daily. The pool is open from 7am till sunset. No lifeguard is on duty at the pool. Use of any of the hotel facilities is undertaken at your own risk and children must be supervised at all times.

6. RMS Terms

  1. Cancellation penalties depend on Accommodation Provider policies. An administration charge (defined on the booking form) applies to all booking changes and cancellations.
  2. RMSOnline sells Accommodation Provider accommodation from an inventory supplied by each Accommodation Provider, and does not over-sell that inventory. RMSOnline does not accept any liability for unavailability of rooms caused by the Accommodation Provider over-selling there own room inventory.
  3. The customer will be required to provide a credit card at check-in to cover incidental charges and may be required to provide photo ID.
  4. RMSOnline makes its best efforts to ensure that the information available on its web site is accurate. However, RMSOnline cannot and does not guarantee that the site is free from errors or faults.
  5. RMSOnline does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information published on the site at any time.
  6. RMSOnline does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of or connected with its web site or for any products or services purchased from its web site.
  7. RMSOnline makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of any product or service advertised on its web site.
  8. RMSOnline offers are not commissionable to registered travel agents.
  9. RMSOnline receives a payment from the Accommodation Provider for the provision of the RMSOnline booking service.
  10. You must be at least 18 years of age to book Accommodation on RMSOnline.
  11. These terms do not affect consumers’ statutory rights.
  12. Customer acknowledges that a third party (‘card authoriser’) will process the credit card transactions required in respect of a booking. Customer agrees that RMSOnline is not liable for default by the card authoriser.
  13. Customer acknowledges that payment for the cost of accommodation will be held by RMSOnline on behalf of the Accommodation Provider and remitted to the property on terms agreed between RMSOnline and Accommodation Provider.
  14. Customer agrees to pay to RMSOnline by debit to customers credit card account the specific booking fee & cost of the accommodation. All fees are GST inclusive. RMSOnline will issue customer with a valid tax invoice in respect of this booking service.
  15. Bookings made through RMSOnline by the customer are made on behalf of the Accommodation Provider. Customer agrees that Accommodation Provider has sole responsibility for delivery of the services being booked by the customer and that RMSOnline is not liable for default by the Accommodation Provider.
  16. Whilst every effort is made to ensure your requested room type is available, we cannot guarantee the actual bedding configuration of the room. These requests are forwarded to the Accommodation Provider and are subject to availability on day of check-in. All additional requests (smoking room, etc) are also subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by RMSOnline.

Terms of Service

1. Terms

If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

4. Limitations

In no event shall Tradewinds hotel or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Tradewinds hotel’s website, even if Tradewinds hotel or a Tradewinds hotel authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
